A pleasant day, with sunny intervals and lighter winds

Another dry day on Tuesday, with westerly winds and sunny intervals, the winds lighter than on Monday. Top temperature 19.2. The may trees now have red haws already, and the first potatoes were dug today, albeit rather small in size - very nice to eat, though. The ground is very dry underneath, so extensive watering was done in the late evening, depleting my water butts to less than half full.
