Nearly an inch of rain fell yesterday evening and overnight, with strong winds, gusts to 34kt and the temperature up to 11.8C at 0100. The morning was mainly sunny, but shower clouds built up in the afternoon, although it stayed dry in Bracknell. Still quite windy, with gusts to 28kt in the cool southwesterly wind.
