After some fog and low cloud early on, the day stayed overcast, with occasional very light drizzle. Still a 3cm covering of snow to start, but much of it melted during the day. Some thinning of the cloud late in the day, but it became overcast again in the evening. Top temperature 4.8C in a light and variable wind.
